Our second visit within a week as we were walking the circular Borders Abbeys Way. Allerton House was our first and last night. We had the same room - Castle- as on the first visit some 6 nights previously. It was excellent and the en suite bath was much appreciated!

Super little hotel/pub accommodation with great hosts/staff, very friendly and helpful. I had a good sized twin/double room which was clean and cosy and equipped with a kettle and hospitality tray with tea, coffee, biscuits etc. I had a room at the front which afforded me a brilliant view out across over the green and monument, enhanced by beautiful flowers in a trough in front of the window. The evening meal was good, as was the very generous 'full English' the following day! I've nothing bad to say about this property and would highly recommend :)

Very lovely and beatiful place, spacious room and bathroom. Tastefully decorated with good quality towels, bedding etc. Comfortable bed, very quiet at night.

The host Paul is very welcoming and friendly. And with the welcome treat - homemade scones and biscuits, very delicious.
Very nice area to explore, love the 5-minute drive village Denholm, a place with good food and drinks.

Fluffy towels, home baking, fresh eggs, comfy bed and the fire pit. The setting was idyllic and very peaceful. We enjoyed "meeting" the horses and dogs despite our anti-social wee mutt.

Location was perfect, central to everything. The apartment was spotless clean and was equipped with everything we needed and more. Beds were very comfortable.
We received a warm welcome from Sheila and her lovely dogs. The house is beautiful and our room was spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed. Nothing was too much trouble and it was lovely to have a chat with the owners. They made us feel like family.
The location was good, just a 5 minutes drive from Jedburgh town center where there is plenty to do, or if you're feeling more adventurous, Edinburgh is just over an hour away.

Spotlessly clean, quiet, modern, and well equipped, with easy parking. In a prime location only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre with it's pubs, restaurants, and shops. Jedburgh is centrally located for a lot of the historical sites and towns in the area. Easy drive to Edinburgh, we avoided the hassle of driving into the centre by using one of the Park and Ride sites conveniently located just south of the city, very inexpensive, only £4 each return on the frequent bus service.
Amanda and Rob the hosts were very welcoming. The place was spotlessly clean, breakfast was cooked perfect,room was bigger than usual for a twin in a ideal location would highly recommend staying here.
The apartment was very clean, well furnished, secure and comfortable. The location was quiet and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and all attractions in the town. Private off street parking was an additional bonus. The hosts were kind and generous. Overall, an ideal place for a couple to spend a short break.
It was in a good location on the main street with easy access to places of interest. The room, although on the small side, was very clean with a comfortable bed. The cosy bar area was ideal for an evening tipple and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
