For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
We managed to get a good price with a last minute deal, the location in St Mary’s is good and we were able to check in early which was really appreciated!
Staff were all very hard working, both front of house and housekeeping. Courteous and pleasant with all interactions and queries. The central location was a great bonus as were the views from our room and terrace.
Breakfasts were excellent with a great range of options.
Beautiful building in a lovely location in St Mary’s. The staff, especially the young waiters, waitresses and bar staff were very efficient, well trained and friendly. Food was delicious.
Great location and view. Comfortable room with excellent beds. Quiet at night. Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Nice restaurant with a good breakfast and dinner.
The hotel was comfortable with a good location. We were able to drop off our bags a few hours before check-in and they were taken to our room for when we did check in. The gentleman on Reception when we arrived was patient and diplomatic when dealing with some dithery guests. The house (red) wine was good.
This is a nice pub with nice staff, good food, great breakfast but for the rate the room isn't anything special, that is the way with the Scillies though. We got what we expected but we can still be disappointed, because we got a Booking.com deal we knew we would get the worst room. We don't spend much time in it so no matter really.
Wifi was good, location was excellent.
