Located on St Mary's, the largest island in the Isles of Scilly archipelago, Star Castle Hotel is just a short 5-minute walk from Hugh Town. Nestled on the Garrison, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding islands.

We were delighted to stay at the Star Castle Hotel - this was a real treat for us and really lived up to (and exceeeded) expectations! The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The food was excellent - hadn't expected such high quality. The setting and grounds were really magical and memorable. A great holiday and we would love to return.

On the beautiful seafront of St Mary’s island, The Atlantic offers bright, individually decorated rooms and fresh, seasonal food. The ferry terminal is just 5 minutes’ walk away, and operates to and from Penzance.

I booked fo4 special friends to have a night away, they returned this evening with very high praise from how polite and helpful all the staff were to the cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of the rooms and the food. Well done for making it such a special night for them

The hotel was comfortable with a good location. We were able to drop off our bags a few hours before check-in and they were taken to our room for when we did check in. The gentleman on Reception when we arrived was patient and diplomatic when dealing with some dithery guests. The house (red) wine was good.

This is a nice pub with nice staff, good food, great breakfast but for the rate the room isn't anything special, that is the way with the Scillies though. We got what we expected but we can still be disappointed, because we got a Booking.com deal we knew we would get the worst room. We don't spend much time in it so no matter really. Wifi was good, location was excellent.

Lovely hotel, everything very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Perfect location, CJ on reception was excellent, treated us like old friends sorted us a double bed and telephoned is before the trip to let us know he also sorted us dinner reservations and helped us plan our day. The room was lovely. Dinner and breakfast was very nice
