The hotel is not part of a chain and in some areas needs a bit of TLC, having said that we found the ambiance of the whole building to be very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom. The bar area was very pleasant with the staff excellent. The breakfast was cooked to order with locally sourced ingredients and of very good quality and portion. Again very good staff, they all seemed to get what is required in a hospitality environment
On the whole we would stay there again when in the area.

Loved our room top quality linen & towels beautifully furnished, bathroom was fabulous high quality.
We had dinner which was really delicious a varied menu, portion sizes very generous we couldn’t fit a dessert in sadly ..the cocktails were delicious.

A quiet village location but within walking distance of a great family friendly pub. A very clean room with good quality furniture and fittings. A lovely outlook over fields. We felt very welcomed.
