A beautiful big house in the countryside and only a 10 minute walk through a park to Badminton House. The owners were extremely welcoming. We had a cup of tea and biscuits in the garden on arrival in the sunshine, which was lovely after a long drive. The house is nicely appointed and well within reach of Bath and various other local areas of interest. The friendly and generous nature of the owners coupled with a beautiful breakfast and very comfortable rooms make this place a very enjoyable visit.

It’s a very characterful 17th century old pub hotel right in middle of very attractive Cotswold town . Lively atmosphere in the pub with good restaurant . Hotel rooms spacious and clean . Staff enthusiastic on service if a little unpolished !

We were a bit worried after reading some bad reviews, but we had a wonderful experience. The owner was very wrlcoming, our room looked freshly painted and was lspotless with everything in great shape and we had a great view into the garden. The continental breakfast had fresh berries, pastries and avocados to supplement the normal offerings so it was very satisfying even with no cooked food. I would highly recommend this as a stopover along the Cotswold Way.
Location was convenient for the Cotswold Way as we were walking with no transport.
