A very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped room in a delightful house. An excellent hostess who looked after us very well and who provided (in the rooms) an information booklet second to none. (I only wish I had time to read it more thoroughly). The house was in a quiet location, with ample car parking, only a 5 minute walk from the town centre. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, good value for money.

It provided good accommodation for a one night stay which included cooking our supper. It was comfortable, though the smaller room mattress was just a .liittle uncomfortable and a bit saggy. It was warm, quiet and a good location. It suited our needs for a short stay

The location of stay is perfect to give a holiday mood. And the stay felt like home for us. We didn't feel like we booked and stayed there. It look like a home. A homely feel was there. Then the view from the hall window stunning !!! Perfect for a cup of tea when the sun is going down. Highly recommend this place to anyone. First and foremost, Ben and Emma made us feel welcome even before we arrived, via messages to offer directions and to tell us about the beach house. It has a fabulous location of being right next to the beach, where we were able to fall asleep to the sound of the crashing waves - magnificent! A stroll in the morning allowed us to come upon one of the best treats of our holidays - seals in the bay! The house itself was beautifully and comfortably furnished with everything we'd need for our stay, alongside a helpful guest book with lots of information about the local area. We wish we'd been able to stay for longer, but we will return!

Very close to Thurso Train Station, this hotel has free Wi-Fi, free public parking and comfortable rooms with Freeview TV. Station Hotel serves fine Scottish meat cooked in a traditional style.

A stunning location for our trip around the North Coast. The rooms were impeccable - one inside the hotel, one in the lodges outside. Gorgeous setting. Quiet, peaceful. The food was amazing, too.
Great location and very friendly staff. Bed was a bit “springy” but still managed a goods nights sleep. Excellent local food options in the restaurant, including seafood.
Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff are attentive and multi-skilled working in different areas of the hotel. On reception we were guided to our room. Location excellent - especially if you need to do a night's stay before heading over to The Orkney Islands, as it is only a quick drive to the barge.
Scottish spirit that was in everything. The building itself is more than 120 years old, as i understood because of the picture in the restaurant. Free parking . Clean and cozy . Delicious food. Well, as for the location : if you are on these lands, it's quite late, and you are tired of driving. This is the best place to relax
