Breakfast good but the scrambled egg might have been cooked in the microwave and was a bit dry.
Room very nice but the central heating seemed a bit hit and miss.
En suite was up a steep flight of stairs from the main room and was a bit difficult for someone with dodgy knees and hips.

Great location, easy access, and superb communication. Gorgeous decoration, comfortable cosy lounge area. Furnished to high standard. Great surprise to find a pint of milk in the fridge for a cup of tea. Everything you need for a short stay is provided. Have already recommended to friends and family. Rainhill and nearby Prescot have some wonderful restaurants and the Shakespear theatre.

The location was almost next to a bus stop and the house was easy to find. The host was nice and welcoming. A comfy bed, a clean room, a kitchen and a wi-fi connection - everything for a backpacker's needs! Being right next to Penny Lane, the location is perfect for Beatles tourists as well. The location is perfect in the heart of the village & close to all amenities…. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room and en-suite were both very clean and comfortable, overlooking the garden. Very warm welcome from Ian. Room was spotless clean. Great location right beside the airport. Ian went out of his way every morning to drop me to my course which was amazing saving the stress of taxis incase they're delayed.
