Easy, very easy check in, we arrived late so super accommodating. I love the fact it’s away from the house right at the back of garden. Two separate room that’s comprised of a bedroom, kitchen and lounge area with a separate toilet and shower.

I loved how cosy and warm the hut was, extremely comfortable bed and well equipped with everything you could need. Laura who runs the site was amazing. After I booked I received a very detailed message about the Bothy Hut. She also gave me a lift to the nearby festival I was attending- thank you! The site was quiet. The hot water bottles and blankets were a lovely added touch for sitting around the fire outside on a night time. Very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend.

The Inn is a perfect location for exploring the village, such as the Roald Dahl muesum and Missenden Abbey, both not far away at all. The staff are so friendly, the food is excellent and it has a lovely cosy feel. It was very clean and really quaint. It wasn't noisy at all and offered food and drink.

The staff were outstanding- every single one was friendly, helpful and courteous. The facilities were a little dated but spotlessly clean, fresh linen in the bedroom and bathroom. Good ventilation in the rooms and corridors, which were also very clean. Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. The grounds were absolutely stunning. Well suited for Weddings, Conferences or a retreat.
it was and absolutely beautiful location, the grounds are kept beautifully and the the hotel it’s self is lovely. the staff are very friendly and helpful and it was spotless. we loved walking around the grounds and came across a charity garden they have that help disabled volunteers to grow plants and vegetables that they use in their kitchen! we spoke to some of the volunteers and the staff running the foundation and it really
touched our hearts.
Excellent location. Excellent value for money. Rooms were fine for the price. Cooked breakfast was great and included in the price. I would recommend if you're looking for a cheap night in a basic room in the Chilterns.
Room very clean with a very comfortable bed. Good size TV,, quiet room location with good tea and coffee facilities. Nice bar with really good real ale good selection of Gins. The food was outstanding, excellent selection and way,way above the usual pub fare. Breakfast was very good and would satisfy the most ravenous of guests.
