An ideal location in the centre of Long Melford, down a short private track to the off-road, allocated, safe, private parking. Very quiet and peaceful despite being so close to the town. Accommodation was much more spacious than expected with good quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings. Wonderful underfloor heating system. Superb power shower. Comfortable outdoor furniture. Lovely little garden to enjoy the late-summer sunshine. 5 mins walk to the local butcher, baker and Co-op. Lots of tea-rooms and pubs/restaurants nearby, also an excellent "chippy" at the end of the lane. Highly recommended.

Rachel was warm and welcoming and made us feel very much at home. The room was light and inviting with a lovely comfy bed, fridge, tv, kettle and lots of extras - mini toothbrushes and toothpaste, face mask, eye masks etc.
The bathroom had a spacious and powerful shower and bathrobes and slippers were provided.
The breakfast room was bright and clean with a good view of the large and well established garden. There was a good selection of cereals, fruit and yogurt, juice, pastries, fresh bread, eggs, tea and coffee. The range of preserves was amazing and we enjoyed different ones each day.
This was a lovely, clean and homely property and we will definitely see if there is a room available when we are in the area again. Lovely hosts and Ragnar the dog is adorable.

A very quaint property set in a peaceful and beautiful location, a real hidden gem. Wonderfully clean and comfortable with everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The bathroom door was a particular surprise. Simply fabulous and will visit again.

We hoped for a special stay in a lovely historic building that would both inspire and relax. Our hopes were significantly bettered in terms of the accommodation, location, the wonderful hosts who made us so genuinely welcome and the breakfasts were sensational. The room was spotless, very smart and extremely comfortable, and the hosts incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious with an excellent choice available. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Breakfast was excellent with cereals,fresh fruit,yoghurt,croissants etc and a full English breakfast available. Room was spotless ,bed comfortable ,tea and coffee tray in the room. Plenty of places to eat within a few miles .lovely area to explore with very picturesque ,historic villages and towns.

Liked · Exceptional room / suite, both in size and quality of everything. Massive, comfortable bed and everything provided for a lovely stay of three nights. Breakfast of high standard taken at a table in the bay window. Exceptionally helpful and considerate hosts in Kay and Doug for whom nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The location was ideal for the range of sightseeing locations we were able to see. Parking immediately outside the door of the private access to our accommodation.
