She gave us a lot of information about the island, she got up early in the morning( 5 a.m) to prepare us breakfast as we had our ferry by that time, she was always smiling and very attentive. Where to begin? Wow! The property is absolutely amazing, and the welcome was both considerate and generous. Tracey was on hand if anything should be needed, and though we had no need to call upon her it was nonetheless reassuring. The accommodation is superbly appointed and extremely well stocked - basically, it’s like you walked into the home you always wanted and everything you’d want/need is there to hand. The beds are comfortable and, when there’s four of you, it helps that there is an en suite in the master bedroom. The situation is also a bonus. Close enough to Stornaway as makes no difference, and thereby as accessible to the main sights as you would want. At the risk of placing it ‘on the map’, and thereby making our own return more difficult, this property should be first on your list.
