The rooms were spacious and had coffee /tea making facilities. The beds, pillows and linen were clean and comfortable. The place seemed to be very popular with the locals.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
This is an unusual gem of a place. Spotlessly clean, with excellent staff and service. The curry I had for dinner was one of the best I have had. The location was ideal for me as visiting relatives near by, and in the middle of Oxfordshire with fabulous countryside around. We went for a walk and once clear of the main road found a walk through a picture perfect English village and field of wheat ready to harvest.
Very quiet, sleepy little village in rural Oxfordshire, lovely location for a quiet weekend away .The Eagle Tavern was an absolute gem of a find with a lovely country pub ambience, very clean and comfortable accommodation with excellent food beautifully prepared and presented by the hosts. 10 out of 10, would thoroughly recommend.
Excellent breakfast. The location of the Eagle Tavern was ideal for walking and exploring the surrounding countryside of the Vale of the White Horse. The staff were very helpful and seeking to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
We had an evening meal at Mollies Diner very nice, not cheap but good quality. The staff were excellent as they were extremely busy they still had time to look after us.
The location of Mollies Diner and Motel, suited us and it has a bus stop just outside which is most convenient especially if you do not want to drive.
Large room, good bathroom, fluffy towels, very clean, comfy bed, everything worked, location bang in town. Much better than our stay here six years ago.
