We arrived in the pouring rain, and soaking wet, so it was a relief to know umbrellas were ready and available, and even hot water bottles, though we didn’t need these. The room was cosy, tea and coffee making facilities were very welcome and the beds comfortable. The town is a short 5 minute walk with options for an evening meal. Breakfast is self service, but plenty to choose from. It was a welcome overnight stay for us after a long journey and gratefully, easy parking for our motorbike. Even though Jean was feeling unwell during our stay she still made sure we had everything we needed.
