Our room was spotless and included thoughtful free additions such as bottled water, cans of coke, nibbles, quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Jack is an exceptional host and had suggestions for places to visit to make the most of our short stay. It’s a quick bus ride into the city centre and the bus stop for the return trip is right outside the property. We would have liked to stay longer!

I do a lot of reviews as I travel a lot .I have messaged the owner about a problem we had on our one night away but they have failed to get back to me .This place is stunning Iand I have booked to go back but my last experience was not too good .not really the owners fault but we should have been contacted the day before ad the site new there was a scheduled power cut on the day we arrived and we was not aware. I would have been happy to get a refund and book elsewhere as my friend and I was only away for the night .The campsite said on check in that the electric should be back on for 4 but it was ,7 o clock so ee missed out on the full hot tub experience. We had to wait then for the hot tub to warm up which was late evening .The place is stunning though and I have already rebooked to show my hubby .Just upset we could not enjoy what it had to offer last time .

We liked the location as it was handy for the motor experience we were going to the next day. The pub was friendly and the food was very good we enjoyed the quiz night very much.
The room we had was very clean and comfortable and had everything you needed, the bed was so comfortable and the room was also comfortable temperature. The bar is also lovely, typical country homley pub, the staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good choice of meals, freshly cooked and tasted lovely. In all, I will certainly stop at The Grey Horse again if I am in the area and recommend this place highly.
The staff, location, room, breakfast... just literally everything was wonderful!
The owners said they have not long taken over looking after The Grey Horse, so they are still doing work on it.
But they were extremely kind, helpful - would strongly recommend there!
My mates and I will definitely go there again, given the chance!
