staff, food, pub all lovely. great ice cream! plenty of space with a large garden. both dogs loved it. room really nice, and comfortable. good breakfast. bus stop is right outside. we actually thought we were in Wells, but it's a few miles out, however bus service is good. parking is quite tight, but, that's the only thing.

we loved this place so much so I will be booking again - staff super friendly and the house and it's contents are another level full of historical things . amazing pictures books and all sorts of treasure that we were warmly invited to use .
I loved the idea that it's full of a person collection of occultism and the new owners have treated them respectfully. you definitely don't have to be into occultism to love and enjoy the treasures and the vibe of the house is so warm and welcoming X ps pics don't do it justice

An early check in was accommodated without a problem. The B and B was easy to find and parking was straight forward.
We found access to the town and the TOR was convenient.

The owner Terri was lovely, very welcoming and happy to provide advice and do extra things, eg offered to dry wet swimsuits. very genuine lady and other staff nice too. The breakfast was delicious and great choices eg fruit, cooked , cereals etc. Terri was also very good with accommodating my gluten and dairy dietary intolerances. Thank you

The studio had everything we needed and more, the king's size bed was extremely comfortable, Pam and Mike were very friendly and were perfect hosts The homemade marmalade was very good as was the lovely bread, so thoughtful to leave them as was the milk in the fridge.

Booked as a very last minute break and Sheila was accommodating from the get go. She was quick to respond to the booking and let me know it was confirmed, and was there promptly to greet us when we arrived. A beautiful location and a much needed break. We would absolutely return!
The Lazy Shepherd was fantastic! Everything we needed was there. We managed to visit far more places in the area than we imagined, due to its perfect location. The visits from the herd were lovely too.
