The room was really clean, spacious and smelt lovely. The area was really quiet too :) The staff member Carl (I believe he could be the owner) was really friendly and even let us check in 2hrs early. Short drive to the national park and a town centre with shopping & activities facilities and restaurants. Lots of car parking spaces (free) and a cafe right next door, we came Saturday - Sunday so unfortunately didn’t get to try the food Sunday morning but smelt lovely Saturday afternoon. If we returned to Dowlais we would definitely consider staying again - very good value for money.

We loved the size and finish of the room. There was a small fridge with fresh milk and water in. On the side there were free scones. The hisrlts were very welcoming and knowledgeable. The shower was big and lovely. Would stay there again.

Beautiful interior, lots of character. Luxury furnishings. Feather down quilt, luxury feather pillows. Double lined hand made thermal curtains beautifully made. High quality furniture, beautiful fixture and fittings. Lovely homemade Welsh cakes in a cute little glass dome, and real milk in the fridge, not your normal long life pods. Nice touch!

The view is incredible, the cabin has every little detail thought about, lovely little touches, playing cards and domino’s! Lovely treat of bubbly and chocolate, you can watch the the steam train from the balcony, couple of lovey pubs local to walk to, local to some lovely waterfalls and country parks, fab Indian nearby, lovely hosts, it’s just fab!

Lovely cottage that had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of space for us, our grandson and two dogs. The rooms are very light and spacious and the garden lighting is really effective at night. The location is ideal for exploring the area.and we found some great things to do.
The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you'll need for your stay. In a great location to explore Brecon Beacons. There isn't any allocated parking, but there's a car park about 100 yards away, which is free. The host was friendly & welcoming, recommending places to visit and eat. There's a premier store opposite where the owner can be found if needed. Would definitely stay again and recommend 👌

Very cosy, immaculately clean and welcomed with a nice bottle of wine! For us, family with two kids and one cat, was ideally located to explore a few Welsh gems: Brecon Mountain Railway (walking distance 12min), National Showcaves Center for Wales (drive 35-40min), Waterfall County (drive 30-35min). The property has exceeded our expectations in confort and location as we managed to do all this in 2 days.

A Beautiful room felt more like home than just a guest house little touches made it better .large TV fabulous wet room which was lovely and warm .Very comfortable bed .Mirror in bathroom which lit up Ideal for shaving or the wife's makeup .Extremely clean easy parking.

Location was great, the bedroom has everything we need, even a small fridge and it was very clean! Staff excellent! The breakfast in the coffee shop was good too.
