Breakfast was ok, no one to help you when travelling with a toddler.
Not set out for children at all. Like having your child at breakfast felt awkward, my daughter is very well behaved but it felt like we were in the wrong place.
Zero small spoons on the premises! So little mouths have to try and eat cereal with massive spoons, not good.
Ended up with only eating an orange while my breakfast got cold after searching for a spoon.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Excellent room, very clean with all the extras … breakfast was really good as was the evening meal.
Staff were very attentive and friendly
Lovely outside areas to sit and relax
Plenty of parking
Location was perfect for visiting Oxford and surrounding places
Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, great staff, delightful bedroom with all facilities and spotless bathroom. And a really convenient and peaceful location for easy access to Oxford
Very impressed with this hotel, in lovely location opposite Dorchester Abbey, staff very friendly & welcoming (thanks Saskia), stunning room, very well appointed, great attention to detail, Nespresso coffee machine, even a rubber duck in bath ! Beautiful furnishings, great bathroom, comfy bed, even an assortment of games, everywhere was spotlessly clean.
Restaurant & bar area beautifully furnished, warm & welcoming. Excellent choice at breakfast served with a smile.
Will definitely stay here again
We had a standard room and it was beautiful
and absolutely spotless. Lovely big bathroom. Staff were really helpful and breakfast next morning was wonderful. Beautiful old building and lovely location. Thank you to staff for making us feel so welcome.
Stayed there so that I could watch a friend's play. The place offered a lot more than what my partner and I expected, the staff were lovely and attentive (one of them even ran out to me on the street to hand me a couple of items I forgot), the place was also very clean and everything felt high quality. The bar and restaurant are also very inviting and cosy and the food was great. The location was well-placed in a picturesque village with a co-op nearby.
Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious.
Directly opposite the Abbey. brilliant location, easy parking.
The warm comfortable accomodation, the friendly and welcoming staff, excellent choice of food, great breakfast, perfect location, and very clean. Lovely little village.
A good location for my visit. Everything was fine, room was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was fine. It met my expectations.
A lovely old hotel with lots of character. We thought the location was stunning in a pretty little village with a beautiful church opposite the hotel. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The food was good with a nice full english breakfast. We also enjoyed our evening meal there which was very good, but thought it was a bit on the expensive side for what we ordered. The staff at the hotel and bar were all really friendly and helpful. Overall it was very good and I would recommend this hotel and even stay there again.
