Absolutely nothing sadly, we arrived to an extremely loud pub which you’d expect but it had broken windows, drug smokers, beyond drunken customers and a 24 hour betting shop next door, we were told not to go out after dark for fear of being assaulted or robbed but we braved that to go for a pizza and wished we hadn’t!!! We walked back in to the bar to get a drink to witness the barman and a drunk woman screaming at one another, the smell of weed and our filthy room (happy to provide pics). My wife and our pet were absolutely terrified, the smoking area was an alleged beer garden IN A BACK ALLEY, we had no wish to stay for breakfast, we left the keys in the door and ESCAPED before breakfast, stopped at a petrol station to buy a sandwich for our 4 hour journey. Longest, scariest nosiest night of our lives. Hopefully this was a one off and the next family find it amazing and call us snobs but we doubt that very much.

Room had an amazing view and was spotless. Sue was so lovely and very informative. She even offered to drive us to our dinner destination. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of spacious parking spaces. Lovey pub and cafe across the road.

The cottage is very well appointed and situated, rural enough to be peaceful urban enough that everything you could need is local.
The private allocated parking is a massive plus.
The cottage itself is tastefully furnished and renovated to a very acceptable standard feeling very homely indeed. The little welcome message and gift was a very nice touch indeed (went straight on my social media story). 10/10

The host was fast with her responses and willing to help with any request which was greatly appreciated. The beds were extremely comfortable too and the apartment was clean and tidy upon arrival. Myself and the other guests were happy during our time here and if we ever come back to Wakefield, we’d definitely book again!

Very clean and convenient. So close to my work and it has Internet, TV if you need it and the bed was so comfy! Ideal if you need to travel for work as it has a kitchen and everything you need to cook if required. You can even park your car in secure gated car park. Owner very friendly and helpful. Perfect! Friendly people - good price and location for where we wanted to go. Everything within 5 minute walk. Good breakfast. Bathroom clean with good shower. Quiet for a town centre pub. Cheap overnight parking 3 mins walk away. Just what we wanted for our stay.
The apartment was well located and had cheap parking very nearby. It was very clean modern and comfortable, I highly recommend staying here, superb value for money also. Daryl and Jade were very attentive if I needed assistance. Will be staying here again for sure.
I stayed here for work purposes so was ideally situated for me check in was prompt and easy bar staff are very friendly and accommodating if you need anything james and Paul are on hand to quickly help out rooms are kept very clean and tidy....
