In the morning Suzzi cooked a delicious breakfast which we took in the garden dinning room. The Wheatsheaf Inn provided good value for a single traveler looking for somewhere to stay close to Brighton. Breakfast and evening meal were of a high standard and the bedroom was comfortable. The location on the outskirts of Haywards Heath was convenient.
We had a great stay. It was in a convenient location to a wedding nearby. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Loved the pub downstairs, was great for a post drink after the wedding. And excellent breakfast too.
Breakfast was outstanding. We also had dinner in the bar which was also very good; generous portions and good service.
Location was ideal for access to ferry at Newhaven, the pub itself is well worth visiting.
