Everything we needed was in our bedroom, which was spacious and clean. The food was served promptly, and my partner said it was the best steak he’d eaten for a long time. My smokie was unusual and tasty. We had previously had Sunday lunch at the New Inn, and that was very good too.

Perfect location for us. Very clean. Very comfortable. Quirky. Staff very friendly and helpful. The ‘smug’ was an excellent addition and a brilliant concept.
Comfortable and cosy room. Communal kitchen was great for a quick microwave meal in the evening. Location is ideal for shops etc and 14 minutes from Exeter too.

The location was perfect for visiting family and the owners were lovely.
As returning it guests, the stay was as good as the last time. The little carton of milk and complimentary coffees were ideal after our long journey down from Scotland.
