The flat was very well furnished with plenty utensils. Spotlessly clean. Another plus point, Netflix supplied free.

I enjoyed my stay at Burts Hotel which is centrally located.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Location was fantastic for our cycling trip from Edinburgh to Carlisle. Lovely staff and happy to let me have a jug if fresh milk in the room rather than long life sachet. Grtto have a sunday roast and a oint of beer to set me up for cycling 75 miles the next day.
Breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent as was food in the bar in the evenings. Delicious pizzas in particular, also the steak, and (huge) fish and chips! Very friendly staff. Ideal location for exploring the Border country.
We loved the atmosphere as soon as we stepped through the door. So welcoming with fresh flowers, fire laid, milk, tea, coffee, jam etc. Very clean and super comfortable. The bedding was lovely too! Hot water and heating very efficient and easy to manage. Perfect location for us and good easy liaison with the owner. 5⭐️
