The location was so central, we had evening meal and the staff were outstanding in catering for my allergy, our room was spacious and immaculately clean, we had the biggest bath I've ever been in, we sat in the Terrace where there were heaters and blankets provided if you required them, the decor was beautiful everywhere.

The Host was lovely and welcoming. The room perfectly adequate and as described, tea and coffee facilities in room with some biscuits. Location is remote and is lovely and quiet. Breakfast was very nice and the eggs were from the chickens on the farm.

It was beautifully presented and felt very homely. The host had put a lot of thought into what guests may need for their stay. There was ample room for the three of us and it was so nice we decided to stay in and have a Chinese takeaway and have a good catch up around the dining table. The location was great, just a couple of minutes walk to the town centre, which had lots of cafes, pubs, shops and a great market.

The property was perfect for me and my husband to visit Oulton Park circuit for race day. It was very comfortable, safe and peaceful location. Owner lives on site but they leave you to it, but are on hand if you need anything. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area. Highly recommend
We stayed a night for the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience. It was a long drive from London. Overall very good value. Room was good quality, nothing cheap or nasty feeling. Netflix available with a decent TV. Very clean and felt nice with no musty smell. Dinner was amazing, breakfast was above average, the Sunday roast was okay. Service was okay, transactional but nothing offensive.
