Excellent. It was cheap. Kitchen was small but well equipped. Better than an apartment I recently stayed in which cost alot more money. Loved the fact they provided snacks/meals at a small charge. I however had food and walked to the shop which is also well supplied. The pub was unfortunately not serving food due to a wedding party. Very easy instructions on getting in. Will definitely stay again. I had the room to myself which had 3 bunks.

Ann is the perfect host who fulfils all the wishes and requests of her guests perfectly. Whether it's breakfast, advice on excursions or the choice of restaurants for dinner. We will be booking our next stay at Hadrian's Wall with her again.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Lovely location, riverside views and walks , building a bit sprawling but comfortable. Good room. Basic gym and pool facilities included.
Staff all really friendly and helpful
The location was great for our Hadrians wall walk but the actual room and hotel were pretty poor. The room was freezing and the cups had not been washed! The breakfast was over priced and not nice - would be much better if cooked when you order. Staff at bar were rude and disinterested. Cistern on toilet not against the wall so toilet moves significantly when used. Walls were dirty and paintwork was messy. Shower was the best bit of our stay because it was hot but didn’t seem to have any temperature control
Gorgeous location, rooms lovely and clean.
Pool lovely and warm changing rooms very clean.
I liked the seating areas around the hotel very relaxing
