We had a different room to last time. This room had a double bed and we are used to bigger beds, so I found it a bit uncomfortable. Everything else was fine, especially the breakfast. Lush. The parking facility is also fantastic.

Nigel was friendly and welcoming answered our questions about the area. The lodge was comfortable all we needed a nice outside area if we needed. It. Easy to get to sea front with lots to do. Can get a bus to Whitsable another good day out.

Beautiful location, lovely room, spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Riverside setting was wonderful. I love that dogs are allowed although I didn’t bring mine but would if I stayed again.

Location is amazing for exploring the river and Stodmarsh nature reserve. Breakfast is good and the room comfortable and has plenty of character. The staff friendly and helpful, they stored our bags whilst we walked the river. The nature reserve is teeming with wildlife in May. To be there on such a warm bank holiday weekend was a stroke of luck as there can't be many better places to be in May.
Location was very quiet with lovely views over the countryside. Facilities were very good with lots of crockery, pots and pans and utenxils. Milk in the fridge on arrival was very welcome.

Couldn’t have asked for more. Lovely accommodation, spotlessly clean and lovely personal touches.
The host had left essentials in the fridge & extras too, tea, coffee, snacks, tea bags, sugar & coffee. A nice touch also was fresh eggs in a basket on the side.
