Unique hotel that well exceeded expectations given the price. Breakfast included was excellent and filling. We also had dinner at the hotel which was by far the best of three local restaurants we dined at during our stay. Very nice pub on site as well. Many thanks to the manager Jonathan who was helpful and friendly,

The staff were exceptionally friendly and very accommodating. Felt very welcome all the time. The food was very very good (compliments to the chef) both in the evening and at breakfast. The pate was home made and the pork medallions were delicious. Hubby had a burger which again was homemade and he said was great. Bed was very comfy and everything was spotless.

The pub is lovely, full of character and in a great location that’s very quiet at night. Huge car park, easy to park. Staff we’re excellent, attentive, efficient. Check in was super easy. The courtyard is pretty and would be lovely to sit in if not rainy or cold. Food in the restaurant was absolutely superb -totally would travel here just for that, and the full English breakfast was lovely. The room was a nice size, very clean and the bathroom was nice and modern with a simple to operate shower (push button on/off) which had good pressure.
