A very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped room in a delightful house. An excellent hostess who looked after us very well and who provided (in the rooms) an information booklet second to none. (I only wish I had time to read it more thoroughly). The house was in a quiet location, with ample car parking, only a 5 minute walk from the town centre. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, good value for money.

The location was breathtaking, honestly just perfect, if you want to be close to the rugged northern coast of Scotland.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, nothing was too much trouble.

Very basic room, small but ok. Same with Bathroom. No additional facilities such as a residents lounge. Leaving early 07:30 so breakfast not available but a reasonable packed breakfast. but once again a small room so not realy great for taking it. OK but not great value for money.

It provided good accommodation for a one night stay which included cooking our supper. It was comfortable, though the smaller room mattress was just a .liittle uncomfortable and a bit saggy. It was warm, quiet and a good location. It suited our needs for a short stay

We had a very friendly welcome by Emma. The room was very comfortable and excellent facilities. The evening meals were very good, great portions and good value for money. Breakfast was excellent, a variety of choices. Ideal location for visiting Dunnet Head, John O’Groats and Wick.

Location was easy to find off site parking near to hotel, nota lot in local area to see. Hotel was spotless staff super helpful and friendly room was perfect very thoughtful giving us ground floor to ease access with our dog. The location was fantastic for everything me and my partner wanted to do whether it be the northern lights which i got to see which the host was more than happy to help you find even sent me a message to tell me iwill add picture from dunnet head once I know how. i got to try the local distillery at wolfburn it was great.
The cottage was fully equipped even down to tinfoil and cling film and olive oil. Very clean and tidy spare linen all in all very good place to stay.
The hotel was in a good location just 15 minutes drive to the Gills Bay, Orkney ferry. The hotel and room were very clean and tidy. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was very good. A good choice of cereal and full English. Good hotel would recommend.
