The location was lovely, the steering was lovely. Nice old pub and I lovely big garden, could let my dog stay and in the pub for dinner and breakfast in the morning. The food was really good. Very good value for money.

Lovely accommodation, room was very clean and lovely decor. We had the continental breakfast in our room (cooked available in main house) which was delivered in a huge hamper with fresh warm croissants, orange and apple juice, warm pastries, selection of 2 cereals and freshly sliced fruit… beautiful… oh and fresh milk, tea & coffee.
Patrick was the perfect host and went out of his way to make sure our stay was of the highest standard. There is a lovely village pub next door so very convenient for dinner. We will certainly return, highly recommend a stay.

We only had an overnight stay but would return without question.
The room was smart, spotlessly clean and comfortable.
The food in the restaurant was very good, the breakfast, too.
Without exception the staff we met were friendly, helpful and efficient.
Excellent place to stay, dog friendly and ideally placed for stop off on long journeys nort or south..Attractive building, spacious comfortable ground floor rooms good range of menu options thriving public bar
Quiet village location. Spacious room leading straight out to a covered area overlooking garden. Large comfortable bed, convenient fridge with fresh milk. Exceptionally clean. Good, well priced pub menu. Great stop over just off A1 and great for dogs.
A great place to stay. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. There is a great beer garden and plenty of outdoor space. The food was delicious with plenty of options for the evening meal. The hospitality was spot on and we will definitely return at some point in the not too distant future.
Large, comfortable room. Great staff, good food and decent beer. Breakfast was exceptional. Lovely rural location, but only minutes from the A1(M). First time we have been back since Covid and the new team are doing a great job.
We selected the pub as a half way point stop over on our journey to Norwich and what a good decision. Very quiet location. Lovely room, enormous comfortable bed. The menu for evening meal was varied and additional choices on the blackboard. We add a main and a dessert which were first class. The breakfast was huge and well cooked. The staff were welcoming and very attentive and pleasant. All in all I would recommend it to anyone.
