Breakfast was outstanding. Fiona offered a huge choice and everything was cooked when you came to the table. It was delicious. Breakfast table was presented beautifully and was very inviting. Fiona is a cordon bleu cook and it showed.

Beautiful location and base for exploring the island. Close enough to Bowmore to pop into town for a meal. Can walk it but a bit tough in the dark, so recommend a car (not sure you can easily navigate the island without one). That said, Jim does provide a taxi and whiskey tour service, which we didn't use since we had a car but I am sure it would have been a hoot - Jim is a proud islander who is happy to share his love of the island with guests. He and his wife, Caroline, were very welcoming and cook up a mean breakfast. We felt right at home and the bed was sooooo comfy. Thank you :)

Fiona is very welcoming. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was freshly cooked. Everything was to a 5 star standard. Fiona asked if it were ok for her to book dinner for us at nearby Bridgend Hotel for our first night. Food was great. We did accidentally leave a couple of things behind and Fiona went out of her way to get these back to us before we left for Australia
Ideal location in a lovely setting and just a 2 minute walk from a world class distillery. The cottage was spacious, beautifully finished and had everything we could hope for to make it a wonderful holiday😊
