Everything. The people were just lovely and most helpful. The room clean and comfortable. We had light breakfasts but there was a variety and the cooked breakfasts looked good as well. The food in the pub was good, home cooked and again a variety to choose from. Would stay there again.

extremely clean, comfortable and well positioned for exploring the peak district. The appartment was very well furnished so it made our stay even more comfortable. It was also well furnished, modern and lovely overall. I appreciated also that it was so conviently located to visit the Peak District and even the small village had a supermarket, bakery and other stores and fish and chips making life even eaiser. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brookside Barn. The directions provided were clear and the contact with the hosts about key collection was excellent. The house itself was really cozy and we immediately felt at home. The bedrooms were large and the beds really comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was lovely. The shops are a short walk away and there is a really nice kids park just over the road that my daughter loved. Everything we wanted to do in the Peak District was easily accessible from Brookside Barn, we'd definitely like to stay here again. If it's ever available! :-)

We loved the layout of the rooms and the cosy living room gave us the cottage feel and ambiance we were looking for. The kitchen was fully equipped with everythig we needed and it was great to have a dishwasher too! The place was exceptionally clean and tidy and we appreciated the excellent heating duing February. The location was within the lovely village of Bradwell with its supermarket and deli and we made trips to Castleton and Bakewell. I really liked the master bedroom - very spacious and relaxing.
