Cruisers Haven, hotel in Botley

Located 600 metres from Southampton Cruise Terminal and 1.3 km from Southampton Guildhall in the centre of Southampton, Cruisers Haven provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Joe, was great, a quick call that we had arrived & met us at the gate. He actually showed us to the parking space, and then explained how the accommodation works. He even recommended somewhere to go for a bite to eat which we took up and were not disappointed, the bonus being it was about 1 minute away. We stayed for just 1 night prior to going on a cruise & the location could not have been better to get to the cruise terminal, 3 mins. Thanks again to Joe, for use of the car park whilst we were waiting to go to the ship. He made us feel very welcome, which is worth a lot IMHO.

Bell Tent Glamping at Royal Victoria Country Park, hotel in Botley

Bell Tent Glamping at Royal Victoria Country Park is a beachfront property located in Southampton, 8.1 km from Southampton Cruise Terminal and 9.1 km from Southampton Guildhall.

Lovely area, right in the heart of the park. Easy to find, if you pay attention to the instructions and signs. Beautifully quiet night & day. Clean toilets/shower block. Approx. 20m from our tent, no.6. John the site owner tells me they are completely rebuilding the block and will be including a family room to make it easier on those guests with children. Beds were very comfortable, electric fire heated us up within five minutes. The single light was very atmospheric, more so when put behind the electric fire. Kitchen was clean and well-stocked with cutlery/crockery, with a fridge for each 2 tents. Lovely big gas cooking range, but we didn't use it. In addition to the BBQ fireplace for each tent, there is a large bowl-type firepit which would be lovely to sit by of an evening. Please note, you need to provide your own wood/charcoal, but it is available to buy on-site for £10. Cedar Rooms Restaurant & Café is a ten minute walk away and is not part of the glamping site. Seating inside and out, good choice of meals, but only open until 5:00 pm April-October. Very popular with the dog-owning community.

This was an ideal location for us being just a mile away from family we were visiting. The lady owner was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast offered everything you could possibly wish for and the room and ensuite were spotless and comfortable. An especially nice touch was the cafetiere on the hospitality tray with lovely coffee. We definitely intend to book here again. Good parking too.

Good location for exploring local area. The ‘cosy cottage’ setting made us feel like we were away on holiday (rather than just an overnight stay for a funeral, which had been the purpose of our visit ). Rooms very well kitted out….. lots of nice little extras. Self service breakfast had loads of choice. Very clean and comfortable.

Good location for the Village Centre and access to other transport links. Loved the setting of Otters Green, access to the garden and outdoor sitting areas. The room was very clean, had very nice bedding, good selection of tea/coffee and had some nice touches including waterbottles! The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice available, the owner was lovely as well. Would certainly stay again.

A real gem of a discovery. Ideal location for Southampton but situated in Botley village which has all the facilities needed. Comfortable and clean room with a delightful garden opposite and a breakfast room in the old granary. Very highly recommended.
