This is a really nice hotel. It's inviting and comfortable. Our room was gorgeous, no other way to describe it and the bathroom was as well. Breakfast was from a short menu and was well cooked and presented. We had dinner as well and this was good and dessert was great. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The private car park is just across the road so not a problem. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Rural location - very quiet with lovely scenery. Tea and cakes on arrival in the lounge. Very comfortable superking bed. Excellent cooked breakfast and seasonal fruits.

We were as delighted with our visit this time around as we have been on our previous visits.
The property is located in a nice spot just a short walk to the seafront.
Situated in Lancaster and only 5.7 km from Trough of Bowland, The Gateway at Hest Bank features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Well equipped and sunny garden. The position was great for walking by the canal and to the local pub. My granddaughter called it the white house.
The location of this property is amazing. Everything you need is on your door step. There is a Chinese restaurant, fish and chip shop, Co-op, local butcher, pharmacy and of course a local pub selling food with a five star food hygiene rating.
Everything is within walking distance so you can literally arrive and park up for the weekend.
There wasn't anything we didn't like. The property would benefit from a downstairs loo but other than that everything was perfect.
The location was close to the dog show that I was attending. The room was spacious and comfortable. Parking was easy, opposite the hotel. I was able to get in and out with my dogs with ease using an outside stairway and hotel keys. This was extremely helpful when traveling with dogs.
Convenient location for meetings in Lancaster. The hotel is well presented and was very clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.
