The host Keith was very helpful and at hand if needed. The location of the property and the property itself was exactly what we were looking for, quiet but within minutes walk to the shops, ( supermarket, pharmacist , bakery etc) the bus stop,( with excellent service to Cambridge ) a very good coffee shop ("The Linton Kitchen" where I had tea and an Earl grey toasted tea cake) ) two excellent pubs (we had excellent meals in both the "Dog and Duck" and the "Crown Inn") . We also very much appreciated being able to sit outside in the garden in a nice sunny spot , again very quiet .

Despite appalling weather, we had a delightful time in the restaurant and bar, in the company of friendly staff, eating excellent food and enjoying good wine! The breakfast menu was extensive and interesting and very good quality.

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Room had excellent facilities, very clean, comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful. There is plenty of parking on site. The food in the restaurant was very good.

The location is great and the room was really cosy and comfortable. The property is dog-friendly which is essential for us and the dog towel, bed, bowls and treats are a really nice touch.
