On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. We had drinks in the bar which had a friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately we couldn't have dinner there due to our friends (who we were meeting) having a dog. Neither my husband or I eat breakfast. The views of the surrounding countryside are lovely. Nice driving along the quiet country lanes.

The accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. A great deal of thought has been put into everything to make it pleasant and comfortable for guests.
Very friendly on arrival, helpful and professional staff, who showed myself and daughter to our en-suite rooms, very clean rooms, bedding was fresh as were the towels for the shower room, shower was spotless and no smell of mold or damp from the seals or outlet, a restful sleep on a comfortable bed.
can't comment on the breakfast or evening meal as we were seeing friends and that aspect was covered (the breakfast smells emanating from the kitchen were mouth watering), Parking right outside the hotel too.
I stayed in room 8 it was a twin room, it was dated but spotless with nice facilities, nice clean towels, adequate toiletries and very clean bedding, the breakfast was really nice. As an over night whilst doing the Viking way this is perfect as it on the route.
The Ladies i met while checking in and checking out were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The guest house is in a great location for access to the train station.
