I can’t say enough about how wonderful this bed-and-breakfast is in Salisbury and the host and his two amazing assistants. This comment includes the wonderful breakfast each morning. Without hesitation, I would return to stay with this host. My last comment would be to reflect on how personable and even professional the host is and again his two assistants.

A lovely location - an ancient Mill House on the banks of a river in an archetypal Wiltshire village. Michael, the host (and an excellent one at that!) is well established here and and it's fortunate he has decided to share! The rooms are very individual and all well appointed. The only meal available is breakfast but everything is available to individual taste and Michael cooks the Full English himself if you fancy that! We had dinner in the local, The Boot Inn (another excellent venue) both nights we stayed - it's literally just 5 minutes walk away at the other end of the village.
Situated in Lower Chicksgrove, 2 miles from Tisbury, Compasses Inn offers accommodation with free parking, free Wi-Fi, a pub, and a restaurant.

We happened across The Compasses Inn as we needed somewhere to stay locally for work, but had no idea what a treat we had in store. The attention to detail of the team here is second to none and the rooms are excellent and well appointed.
We had to leave before breakfast service on our first morning, and so were treated to a hamper of beautifully presented and delicious goodies left outside our room. The cooked breakfast on our second day was also superb.
Make sure you book ahead for dinner, as this place is rightly enormously popular. The menu is well curated, and excellently executed. The bar/restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and such charmingly hosts.

The Prestbury b&b is a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days when visiting Salisbury the room was very comfortable, modern and clean the breakfast was great with freshly prepared fruit a choice of cereals and a full English or choice of cooked eggs.
We found the position ideal with only a few minute stroll along the river bank to the centre, park or Cathedral.
A bonus for us was there is also Free parking provided with plenty of space for manouvering and parking our car.
If we are in the area we will definately stay there again.

Lovely place to stay, the facilities are excellent. Gorgeous little garden to sit in the evenings. Really comfortable bed, kitchenette has everything you need!

The location is absolutely beautiful! The old manor is charming, the room was large and quiet, with a lovely view into the garden.
The host was warmly welcoming us and offered a fantastic breakfast.
