My stay at Kilmeny country house for work was amazing and I would head back in a heartbeat next time that I am across in Islay.
The house itself is beautiful, in a lovely location and gorgeous rooms. And Margret the owner was amazing from the moment I arrived! She was very welcoming and made my stay great!
They went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. Beautiful location, superbly furnished and very comfortable. Our room was well equipped and included a welcoming gift of malt whisky, fresh milk and homemade cakes and biscuits.

Beautiful location, welcoming caring hosts. The accomodation was immaculate, very homely and comforting place to stay. The breakfast was beautifully presented and the homemade baking throughout was a lovely addition. We highly recommend this stay, will recommend to friends and family and would stay again ourselves if we return to the area.
Kilmeny is an absolutely wonderful location with a great view over the nearby hills. But most of it the hosts Margaret and Blair are such lovely and nice people! Strongly recommend to stay at Kilmeny if you are on Islay
Margaret and Blair went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Great local knowledge and very accommodating of any and all requests. Delicious breakfast, quiet and serene location that is still within minutes of distilleries and the ferry. Will be rebooking in the future.
A stunning location, cutely decorated, amazing food, super clean and truly lively hosts. very comfortable beds and a good shower. everything there you could ever want. You could not ask for more and would love to ask to simply stay here forever
The location was nice and peaceful. Our room was very spacious and luxurious. By far the best breakfast of all the B&B places we have ever stayed in. We also loved being invited to see the lambs which had been born the previous night! What a bonus surprise!
