The White Hart, hotel in Ashbury

Boasting a bar, The White Hart is located in Swindon. The property is set 4.4 km from Coate Water Country Park, 8 km from Lydiard Park and 4.4 km from Steam Museum of the Great Western Railways.

Very convenient for my purpose. Due to its location a car is almost a must. Breakfast is a la carte and has to be selected the evening before. If you don't change it, you automatically get the same the next day. Always have the option to eat lunch / evening meals in the pub, menu is good, and I enjoyed the food (and drinks of course). The rooms are in a separate, modern annex, are a good size and have nice furnishings. Bed was comfy. Nice walk-in shower. Plenty of free parking right outside. Staff are polite and friendly. Good value for money.

Perfect location, fab staff, and a lovely room with a super comfy bed. Pub area was stylish, and old & cosy. The meals were varied and didn't disappoint on size or taste. Made to feel so welcome as soon as I arrived, and felt like one of the locals by the time I left. Every member of staff was approachable and friendly. I will definitely be returning.
