    The property was in a nice location , the living room was very tired looking , the chairs were uncomfortable and the hearth rug looked very grubby , but the house had a nice cozy feel,to it with a good sized secure garden which was good for my dog , the kitchen was well equipped , and the shower room was good , very large comfy bed .

    From start to finish our stay was fantastic. I really loved the personal touches such as the welcome basket and the guestfriend app. The location was easy to find. The cottage was very clean. Beautiful location and very peaceful. The host was very easy to contact and could not be more kind and helpful. We hope to return again soon. Very impressed with the cottage.

    The cottage is in a lovely remote feeling area but close enough to towns for shopping etc. It was very clean and comfy and spacious. Water was hot , hosts had left fuel for fire and plenty of coal in coal bunker. Nice to have the option of.a bath aswell as shower. TV had Netflix and prime . Coffee and teabags and sugar left to use. Even had tumbledryers and washing machines on site. Will definitely be back.

    Very clean cottage in a fantastic remote location. Great views of the countryside and close to Loch Lomond and Stirling. Everything we needed was available in the cottage, beds were comfortable and entire property was very clean. Big enclosed garden was great for our dogs.

    I stayed in the Hawthorn cottage which is at the western end of the Cardross Estate. The location is perfect for accessing all parts of the Trossachs. The cottage itself is spotless with a well equipped kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms with skylights that let the fresh air in on warm evenings.
