The family tree is such an amazing place to stay. The owner and her family and staff were so lovely and friendly and made us feel so welcome . The room decor was beautiful and cosy. Breakfast was in one word wow! Would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely stay again inext time we are back in the Peak District .

Lovely place. lovely people. Our room was spotlessly clean, well decorated and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and had tea, coffee and bottled water. Really good spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Water took a little while to heat up but when it did it was nice an hot. Continental breakfast was very good - plenty of toast, crumpets, cereals, yoghurt, croissants, fruit, cake, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Better than many hotels we have stayed in, and quite a lot cheaper too.

Ideal for the kids with the park and the farm. Good location for travel. House was very clean and had all the amenities required, including wet room and disabled facilities which my elderly parents really appreciated.

This is a wedding venue hotel however there was no wedding on when we stayed so it was very quiet. I expect this would make the corridors a little noisy if a wedding was being held.
