The 2 nights at this property were exceptional. Thank you. I felt so at home, the owner gave me good tips on where to eat and what to do in Sancerre. Myself and other guests had a fantastic tour and wine tasting of their own fabulous wine. I was lucky to have wonderful weather so made full use of the lovely pool. I look forward to returning with my husband next year 😍.

The house had a comfortable living room and well equipped kitchen. Close to restaurants etc. The supermarket in Sancerre is limited in supplies but there is a large supermarket in Saint Satur just a couple of minutes drive down the hill.
Our host Stephanie was very helpful recommending places of interest etc.
I would recommend Les Fossils to stay.

The ideal place to get some rest and discover this superb region. We had an amazing stay, our hosts were extremely nice, food was nice (i highly recommand to stay for diner with Guss and Julie). The accommodations are new and very complete (swimming pool, jacuzzi ...).

Everything worked perfectly and we prolonged our stay as we just loved it and of course had to taste some more wine 😀. There is everything you want to use in the kitchen and the flat worked perfectly for us. We enjoyed having our own flat and to bring our dogs. The view from the flat to Sancerre is lovely.

This is a great stay for cyclists - even if it means you have a hilltop finish in Sancerre!! Sancerre is on the Velo Loire cycle path and this unit has a locked courtyard to secure our bikes overnight. It is a 2 floor walk up, but the view across the vines makes it totally worthwhile. The kitchen is well stocked, the coffee machine great, the water hot, the bed comfortable and the wifi is excellent. The hosts have ticked every box.

I’m not sure that I have ever seen such a clean and tidy property. Very well equipped with everything one could need and the apartment is situated in the very heart of the beautiful village of Chavignol with dedicated parking by the front door. Monsieur Dubois could not have been more helpful either. A great place to stay.
