Although the host offered us free onsite parking we thought driving there through the historical centre might be challenging. Instead we chose public overnight parking (very cheap) close by opposite the Hotel de Ville.

The gite is a very comfortable, peaceful and attractive place to stay. Everything was sparklingly clean and there was everything we needed. We were unable to use the outside space because of the weather but there was an outdoor kitchen, garden and pool! Parking is free and secure. We appreciated our host’s warm welcome after we booked at such short notice.

This is one of three apartments in a corner house. The street was quiet and pleasant. Parking in one of the nearby spaces on the road was easy and felt safe. The town centre is an easy ten minutes' walk away. The apartment was comfortable, well-equipped and well-organised. Information and communication with the owner were particularly good. I enjoyed my stay.

Foix is an interesting town, we loved being overlooked by the incredible castle. The nearby caves (prehistoric & river)and walks were great and well worth doing.
