Jerome and Nathalie welcomed me as I arrived and showed me around the gite, we chatted in Franglais and they explained everything I needed to know.
The property is beautiful, it has all mod cons and everything a large family would need. Lovely fresh towels, a superb shower, great kitchen and amazing Wifi. The smart TV allowed to watch Netflix and Youtube in English.
A delicious breakfast was delivered to me each morning.
A very quiet and peaceful location yet only 10 minutes from the nearest town.

We booked the venue because we wanted to give the kids an experience of staying in an old castle and it did not dissapoint. It’s a mix of old and modern, with all the comodities. It should be mentioned that the venue has three stories, the lower is kitchen, middle a living room and two bedrooms, a bath and a toilet located on the third. The steps from the kitchen are steep but you can get around on the outside steps, the ones leading to the bedrooms are not so problematic. The venue was very clean with all the amenities and an excellently equipped kitchen, the only exception being towels which you have to bring with you. Everything is decorated in style and the owners were very kind. The location is a bit remote in the countryside, you need a car to get around. A well prepared information package in french is available, we used google translate and booking chat to make the communication easier although the owners do also speak english, so this was no problem. Would recommend to families, note they don’t take in very small children which is understandable due to the setup of the appartment.
