The location itself, Tour-en-Sologne, was a beautiful little town which we enjoyed walking around. The hotel is very well situated, just 15 minutes or so from Chambord to see the grandest chateau of the Loire and 15 minutes from Blois which is a beautiful town on the river with its own amazing Château. There are several other Château close by.
There are plenty of dinner options nearby with ample variety to suit any palate. The breakfast provided was great and was more than enough to energise a day of Château viewing. There was plenty of parking just off the road in front of the hotel. The receptionist upon arrival was a delight and spoke great English.
The room was a great size, much bigger than that photos suggest, and was well presented on our arrival.

The host was exceptional. We had planned a bike trip, but an issue left us without bicycles. She kindly drove us to the city for dinner and picked us up afterward. Even though I don't speak French, I was able to communicate with her perfectly. The breakfast is excellent, and the vibe of the place is incredible."

Couldnt of had a nicer place to stay close to the chateau. The bed was very comfortable and very clean.
