The breakfast was very good and the owners were always happy to help us in any way they could. They were very friendly and were easy to talk to. They told us all about their village and all the things to see and do in the area. Their restaurant was charming, the food was good, and as I don't eat meat, they catered for vegetariens.

We stayed at Le Clos Galan for a weekend house party nearby, so came and went regularly, but access at pretty much anytime worked well. When at the house, the gardens and pool were a lovely relaxing place to be. The room was enormous (but then it was really a family room), with separate bathroom and loo. Willian and Eric were excellent hosts. The breakfast table was splendid, and it is only a pity that I don't eat like to eat cake at breakfast time.

This is the place to stay if you are looking for genuine ' French Period' chic. The old family house has been beautifully done up and you are right in the middle of the town square in the charming small village of Galan, the hosts are very thoughtful and kind and the breakfast served outside is second to none. Definitely recommend over the other Le Clos, which I have also recently stayed at (unless having a swimming pool is important to you). There are 3 restaurants (one of which is a 3 Star Michelin) all within walking distance of your B and B.

Dinner was really great value...melon and ham starter fresh, the sweet and sour chicken was so tasty, and dessert rounded off the meal so well. Breakfast was fine ..good choice and good coffee. The situation was quiet and the room was spotless. The pool was only open in the afternoon and early evening but was a reasonable size for a small pool. The welcome was charming and so helpful
