Room and bed were very comfortable and the property was quiet. Great details such as wood beams and stone wall in the bathroom. The hosts could not have been friendlier. Breakfast was delicious with bread, croissants, fruit, jam, homemade yogurt and an extra treat each day (pear crumble and banana bread). Would highly recommend staying here!

Visiting 100 châteaux cannot compare with living in one. It was a great experience. Château du Vau is furnished and decorated with items left by earlier generations, tracing back 250 years ago. The owner and inheritor Bruno Clément is very friendly and open minded. We enjoyed the intellectual exchange with Bruno, who is taking care of the house and serves the breakfast solely on his own. The place might be a bit off, but you are rewarded with abundand nature all around the château. It is a great photo location, too.
