La Demeure de Cathy is located a short downhill walk to Saint Lo town centre where there are numerous bars and restaurants - one of which our host had recommended and booked for us. The property has secure car parking which was one of our major selection criteria as we were driving classic cars. On arrival Cathy with her very friendly cat and dog welcomed us into their home. Cathy showed us our rooms which were of a good size, tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean with the beds proving to be extremely comfortable and ensuring we got a good night's sleep.
In the morning the continental breakfast of bread, homemade jams, yoghurt and crepes was excellent as was the tea and coffee - setting us up for the day ahead.
Boasting a hot tub, La Manch'hôtes is located in Domjean. This bed and breakfast provides free private parking and full-day security.

The property is a perfect little piece of heaven. Patrick, Heloise and their lovely family are super delightful. They take care of every need and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Definitely ask Patrick to make his Sicilian omelette for you for breakfast. Amazing stay!

Easy to access from motorway but a quiet and relatively secluded location. Plenty of parking close to reception. Room and bathroom were very "compact" but well decorated and extremely clean and quiet with good air conditioning. Due to the significance of St Lo in the D Day operations, it was nice to see that the hotel had made a significant effort to commemorate the 80th year Anniversary in the entrance lobby.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Very kind and attentive hosts! Great breakfast, nice quiet location in the countryside. recommended!!
