The cabins were in a beautiful area just off the lake and surrounded by trees. It was very quiet and peaceful. The room was a great size with a private bathroom and also had a mini fridge and microwave, as well as a kettle and some tea and coffee. The beds were very comfortable and outside each cabin was a small table and two chairs.
We didn't meet the staff but we whatsapped and they were always quick to reply and friendly.

Lovely bedroom, very clean, shower and toilet separate, nicely decorated with lots of little touches and bed comfortable.The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast around a big table with other guests ( learnt something about wolves). Perfect Breakfast, lovely croissants, delicious homemade jam and good coffee (which we drank out of huge cups, so very typical french)
A big advantage of course is parking, which is available in the courtyard.
And if you're into sewing/crafting check out the handbags and lots of other interesting items (hairclasps, jewelry and many more) all homemade using beautiful fabrics by the lady of the house at reasonable prices!
Not to forget the cute cats.

The location was excellent, just around the corner from the centre of the historical centre of Chalon sur Saone, easy walking distance to everything the city has to offer. The apartment is exactly how it is presented on the booking site, we especially liked the owner's wall plaque reading "this isn't Versailles".

Very well equipped property. Large spacious rooms. Great breakfast provided not a hot breakfast but beautiful fresh breads and juice. Very attentive host. We had a sauna in the bathroom which was fantastic.

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
The location itself was pretty nice and quiet (although the construction workers made a lot of noise as they were sawing through some thick trees). Other positive features: the small fridge, the airconditioning, the electric kettle plus cups, and last but not least the comfortable bed. But be aware that you can't darken the room sufficiently, so if you have a problem sleeping in the daylight, do bring a sleeping mask.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stop here , a gd choice considering we only booked it a few hours prior to our arrival .
We've stayed here numerous times on our drive back from Spain. The receptionist is the same person from when we first started using this hotel and is always friendly. Very clean and pets are allowed.
