It is a wonderful place with an exceptional hospitality. When we arrived a little exhausted from our cycling tour the owner of the house understood that we are hungry before we mentioned anything like it. Shortly after she offered us a very tasty 3 course meal. Room and surroundings are wonderful. We would have liked to stay longer.

Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Idyllic location: on a little island in the middle of the Seine. The house is small and basic but beds comfortable and even despite the rain we spent most of it outside. Lovely spot outside the house to sit and watch the massive barges come by.
We did a lot of cycling and there are a few nice cycle routes to join.
Other perfect local things to do: from next village you can go on the fast train to Paris. Versailles is an hour away and Giverney for Monet’s garden is 40 mins.
Lovely location on the Seine (perfect for a stopover heading south) peaceful with a walk directly in front of the hotel (perfect for dogs). Very nice good value meal, cosy room. Very friendly staff.
Beautiful surroundings after a long day in the car. Friendly and helpful welcome. Benches and tables to enjoy own picnic on a summer’s evening, ideal when travelling with dogs. Good space for parking near to rooms.
