The convenient location, near Bayeux, Caen, Plages du Debarquement etc. The apartment is simply FABULOUS, clean, nicely furnished, with a wonderful garden (we couldn't enjoy it, as it was too cold). The hosts were kind and discrete but always available to help. The bedrooms are spacious and bright. Fantastic!

This is a very interesting medieval house which the owners restored from a ruin over the past 30 years. It is in the middle of the countryside, very quiet & surrounded by fields. We were given a very warm welcome and our queen sized room was superb. It had been cleverly designed to accommodate a shower and separate loo without disturbing the historic nature of the room. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast downstairs in the hall was absolutely outstanding, the best we had anywhere and included in the price of the room. Each day we were given different local produce and everything was of the best quality. We enjoyed the pets, a dear old dog, pussycat, ponies and a young peacock trying to attract the attention of the peahen!

The cottage was amazing, far exceeded expectations. The couple that ran it were so friendly and welcoming, and made us a beautiful traditional French breakfast. The drive out there was really cool, and had a very small country town vibe to it. Would 10/10 recommend! Felt like it'd be perfect for a couples get away, but I went there with a mate just to have somewhere to stay for the night, and it was still great.
