The host and hostess were very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, with homemade cakes or crepes each day as well as the standard French breakfast, so there was some variety. The room was simple but comfortable. The location was good as a base for doing the sites in Normandy.

The breakfast was rich, fresh, and more than we expected: Fresh and crisp croissants, fresh eggs, coffee made-to-order, yoghurt, fruit, and much more. The property was set in spectacular grounds with wonderful walks around the lakeside. Very easy to get to.. beautiful attention to detail in front of the owners chateau. Safe and secure with parking for our car and the Wi-Fi was very good. It was warm and comfortable and had plenty of storage.

What a marvellous domaine in a beautiful park. It gives a royal feeling. The lady of the house super friendly and easy going. Something went wrong with the booking site and she thought we would come with just the two us. But within a couple of minutes she had made the beds for our kids. And the (french) breakfast was delicious, sitting outside on the terrace. A pity we booked for just one night on the way to our final destination. We definitely will return on our next trip to France.
