The house had everything we needed and Michelle was very friendly and gave us good advice on where to go and eat that night. The whole single-storey house is in lovely condition, there is a good size patio with table chairs to sit out at and a reasonable sized garden space for kids to play in .The internet worked well so all in all very satisfied with our one night there while we were passing through. If we had a need to visit this area and spend longer I would be very happy to stay here again. Take Michelle's advice and visit Chauvigny at least one evening to walk round and eat rather than automatically go to Poitiers all the time it has a great old town, a nice relaxed feel and a number of good but unfussy eateries. The Gallettes restaurant (Le Bigorne) is very good.

Perfect, small, comfortable and quaint over night stop. Loved the goats and chickens as our neighbors. Cabin had everything we needed. Used as overnight stop during our drive from France back to Spain. Parking within property, secure, safe to leave bikes on back of the car.
