The breakfast was very healthy and mainly home made served by the very friendly and good humorous owner. I liked a lot the ecological approach. Lots of things were self made with durable materials. Simple solution but cosy. The house is charming since it looks like an old place but taken care of with attention and love. The owner took my question for a quiet room very seriously and I ended up in a very large room that took a whole floor so I could sleep in a bed at the garden side. Of course I appreciated this very much!

We booked seven different places of accomadation for our road trip around Normandy in July 2024 and we would both agree that Chateau de Chambres topped them all. They have done amazing renovations to their chateau and have left nothing to their customers imaginations. Maria & Martin gave us an exceptional Irish/French welcome and the breakfast was truly amazing. They were both full of knowledge of the local area and provided us with useful tips of local places to visit, which was extremely helpful. We were very sorry we had only booked one night in this beautiful chateau and we would highly recommend it to our friends and families.

Location was good for an overnight stay. Required some extra help in order to obtain the wifi login details and for some reason there was no kettle to boil up some water. Mobile signal was very poor within the accommodation so had to go out on the street until wifi password was provided.

The house was fantastic the decor the furniture absolutely lovely, Audrey was so welcoming a really nice person easy to talk too, when asked she gave us invaluable information about the local area, and best times to visit local attractions. The Breakfast was the best we had in all the six locations during are three week vist to france. Once again thank you Audrey.
This location exceeded my expectations. Everything is super clean and the house/ kitchen is very well equipped. I got the keys from a lock box (the owner send me the code one day in advance). The location is in a very quiet zone.
